On Mondays I volunteer in a food pantry. While I’m sorting and packing, I listen to a lot of audio books. This Monday I listened to Outer Order, Inner Calm, a different self help book about tidying up.
I have been living in the chaos of a constantly cluttered never fully finished work space. For more than a week, I used the excuse of not being able to find a certain blue pencil to avoid doing the pricing and posting end. I’ve created a lot of stuff lately, cooked a lot, collaged and re-budgeted, all in the chaos of a messssssssy work table.
Yesterday I cleaned the table and found the pencil.
Sometimes, I know I exactly what I need to do in order to start moving again. Sometimes, it takes more, but you’ll never regret tidying your workspace, its often the first “easy” step to getting unstuck.
